and tending the sacred fire

Beloved souls,
This is how I put my own experience of dance into the words after exploring and diving deep
into many different meditation techniques and styles:
A shortcut to Nirvana
For me I dissolve into something deep which cannot be explained.
letting go, pure joy, bliss and happiness are the by-products but something greater, bigger like the universe itself start to emerge in me.
I become the universe, I become the whole, I become you. We dissolve into each other and there we are…the Buddha!
…one love
I will be holding/creating a space for you , where we can simply be in the stillness of the moment…keeping the instructions to the minimum
allowing to be spontaneously moved by an inner impulse, the music or perhaps inspired by a movement of another body…
exploring the riches of non-verbal communication, connecting with ourselves and the others…dancing a wave…
discovering on our own & as a group…moving towards a radiating stillness…
bringing our awareness on each chakra and letting go of old patters that do not serve us anymore…
recharging our chakras, refreshing and purifying our nadis the energy channels of the subtle body.

Healing Circle, Sunday May 29 at 8pm(please note the new time)

Meditation cannot be a fragmented thing. It should be a continuous effort.

Every moment one has to be alert, aware and meditative. But the mind has played a trick.

You meditate in the morning and then you put it aside. Or you pray in the temple and then forget it.

Then you come back to the world, completely unmeditative, unconscious, as if walking in a hypnotic sleep.
This fragmented effort won’t do much.

Consciousness is a continuum. It is like a river, flowing constantly.

If you are meditative the whole day, every moment of it – and only when you are meditative the whole day – the flowering will come to you.

A Special evening to celebrate the Divine Mother in her many forms.

The Divine Mother is calling us all to create a unique event

under the emerging full moon this April at the time

the world is commemorating the Earth’s Day:

Conscious Living Radio on April 16th aired a one hour show focused on the Feminine Divine.
Some members of our “Celebrating the Feminine Divine” family joined the show for the last 20 minutes.

A Brief Outline of What to Expect for this Saturday Evening:

Kathie will open the evening at 7:00pm with a short introduction.
Opening Ceremony by Aquarius.
She will be our priestess and will make a beautiful, mystical altar
for us and will hold the energy during the evening, aiding to create a good vibration.
Singing and chanting by Little Woo, Zoey on piano, Nathen on Stick, Luannah on flute as well as singing with Theda .
Linda as a whirling dervish will bring light to the evening with her amazing whirling.
Dancing by Zara with live music by all of the musicians improvising
with Pepe on Sitar, Hang and Eagle Feather Flute.
Amir and Sandra will lead us in song, with Stefan playing on Tabla, Nathen on Stick,
Luannah on flute and Zarah performing Bharata Natyam Dance (East Indian Classical).
The mystical night will conclude with Navaro and the goddess drummers “DivaDrum” group
taking us on a mystical journey into movement.
Throughout the evening there will be storytelling and poetry about the Feminine Divine by Chloe and Aquarius .
The sacred journey will be supported by visuals and music by DJ Hanuman and Don.
Mojgan and Adelle will bring their artwork for display at the front desk.
Near the beginning of the evening a representative from Seva will do a short presentation
and will also be present during the intermission and after the evening to answer any questions you might have
with respect to how your generous donations will be used to restore sight to those in need
in Nepal, India and Tibet.
This is a children friendly event (a room for children with lots of toys in the concierge area will be provided).

for Seva.

Special evening for the lovers of Rumi

Blessed souls,

We are all getting together to create a unique event
to celebrate Rumi’s “Shabi Aroos 800th Celebration”
commemorating his return to the Beloved
We will be talking about the evening with Andrew Rezmer of Conscious Living Radio (on Co-op Radio:  CFRO 102.7 FM).

“Conscious Living Radio” is a program that explores alternative paradigms emerging in psychology, health,

The format consists primarily of interviews, mostly live,
some pre-recorded, with various authors, teachers, workshop facilitators, theorists and therapists,
both local and visiting.

Paul will open the evening at 7:pm with a short introduction.
Following the introduction, Zoey will play on the piano as well as sing with Theda intermingled with
John reading Rumi poetry.
Aquarius will be our priestess. she is going to make a beautiful, mystical alter
for us and hold the energy during the evening, aiding to create a good vibration.
The mystical night will continue with Pepe on percussion, winds and strings; Zamir on
hang, and Luannah on flute to take us on a mystical journey with Elly, Ruth and Kambiz
reading the jewel words of Rumi.
Amir will then lead us in song and dance with Stefan playing on Tabla.
There will be chanting, zikr, dancing and united movements to reconnect us to our inner soul.
Raqib and whirling dervishes will bring light to the evening with their amazing whirling
and dances.
The night will continue with Sufi music with Amir and Stefan and more dancing led by Raqib and Amir.
The sacred journey will continue with DJ Hanuman who will close out the evening with mystical mixes
and visuals by Don for those who
may wish to continue dancing until 11:pm, and/or on their way home!
Celeste and Adelle will bring their art work and jewelry for display at the front desk.
Adelle (www.adellebernadette.com) will be unveiling a new painting specifically created for this event
on a limited edition basis.
She will be making these prints as affordable as possible for people to
increase the likelihood of sales and a strong contribution to Seva.
A representative from Seva will also be present to answer any question you might have
with respect to how your generous donations will be used to restore sight to those in need
in Nepal, India and Tibet.
